This position will be a collaborative member of the Human Resources team responsible for various HR functions such as employee on-boarding, employee orientation, and benefits administration. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating employees
  • Explaining HR policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
  • Reviewing original identification for completion of I-9 document and E-Verify submission
  • Informing applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Addressing employment related issues
  • Processing personnel actions and ensuring proper approval
  • Coordinating the hiring process, which includes posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and performing reference and background checks
  • Administering on-the-job training programs and maintaining records for employees who participate in training and development programs
  • Performing job evaluations and job analyses
  • Assisting with administration of benefits
  • Assisting with the employee evaluation process
  • Preparing reports for government compliance

Must Have:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with O365; (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Positive demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well with other team members and independently
  • High levels of energy, character, integrity

Desired: 

  • Three+ years of HR experience, preferably while employed at a technology company
  • Solid understanding of technology related positions (preferably in the wireless or networking industries), job functions, and skill sets
  • Bachelor’s degree (extensive HR experience considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Experience utilizing professional social media sites
  • Experience with macOS
