Mobile Network Engineer

We have multiple positions for Mobile Networking Engineers with expertise in iOS and/or Android
platform development. Primary responsibilities include software design, coding, integration, and
testing of network applications software for mobile platforms. Mobile engineers will integrate multiple
network protocols including peer to peer networks, IP, and custom application solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Support the entire mobile application lifecycle (concept, requirements, design, test, release and support)
Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
Develop wire frame models to demo new features and user interfaces
Design application interfaces to optimize the user experience
Troubleshoot and debug mobile applications to optimize behavior and performance
Work with engineering teams to plan new features and applications
Research and suggest new mobile features and applications
Stay up-to-date with new and evolving mobile technology trends

Must Have:

6+ years of development experience
4 years of mobile development experience
Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of networking, at the protocol, operating system, application, and mobile layers
Able to design, develop, and troubleshoot networking and communications applications
Detailed knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of mobile platforms
Expertise with UI design, implementation, and knowledge of the principles of user-experience design for mobile applications
Able to provide technical input to the design, architecture, and ensure quality of software in terms of driving quality attributes (scalability, extensibility, maintainability, readability, and others)
Able to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and concurrency issues
Knowledge of mobile software development tools and environments
Analytical and data driven approach to systems engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
