As we develop our portfolio of products for commercial and government, we are looking for superior talent to join our world class team to lead development of RF hardware implementation and integration of our revolutionary Osmosis software. Selected individual will be part of a multi-function product development team where they will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers, verification/test teams, and program managers delivering a next generation wireless solution, and will report to SVP of Engineering.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design, implementation and installation efforts of RF projects, involving high-frequency, multi-bandwidth wireless and Wi-Fi
  • Develop and review schematic, designs, and BOMs to meet requirements
  • Analyze designs with simulation tools and models to verify its conformance to the requirements, regulations, and system integration
  • Perform RF analysis to ensure a robust design that achieves end-product certification and performance requirements
  • Collaborate with external vendors on design architecture and verification to optimize the performance of enhanced network solutions
  • Provide support to factory, regulatory (EMI, EMC) and test teams to achieve maximum performance and meet requirements
  • Design, build and test prototypes for evaluation of new product ideas or technology concepts
  • Conduct design/debug investigations and support development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities
  • Develop project documentation including specifications, schematic diagrams, RF architecture layouts, schedules and presentations to meet requirements and communicate the RF hardware design and its progress.

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing and testing RF networks
  • Knowledge of RF transmitter and receiver components, transmission line theory, antennas and RF system architecture and specifications
  • Experience with RF performance characterization and optimization of radio subsystems to meet FCC compliance requirements
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques
  • Knowledge of WLAN protocols; familiarity with Layer 2 and IP networking concepts
  • Experience with RF laboratory equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and power meters
  • Strong competency and experience using simulation and modeling tools
  • Experience working with electrical engineering, software and firmware teams

Desired: 

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related, with emphasis on RF design and communications theory
  • Experience with commercial, military, and aviation radio standards
  • Familiarity with outsourced fabrication
  • Exposure to Embedded Firmware Development in C and/or C++

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related, with emphasis on RF design and communications theory
  • Authorized to work for any US employer without sponsorship Must have or be able to obtain United States security clearance
