WTI is looking for a Technology Evangelist who possesses a track record of successes to join our team. Ideal individual is someone who is passionate about engaging with prospects and customers as the key technical advisor and advocate to drive and manage the technology evaluation stages of the sales process. Successful candidate will engage with technical audiences to influence the adoption of our solutions and will be relied upon to build a critical mass of support while establishing it as a technical standard in various markets.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the primary customer-facing technical member of the Sales team, while also engaging with Engineering and Marketing personnel
  • Management of the pre-sales work in collaboration with sales and business development teams in order to enable the business to meet their revenue targets and formulate successful account engagement strategies
  • Drive customer and partner meetings through sales calls, relationship building, solution selling and problem resolution
  • Provide guidance on complex technical issues utilizing in-depth knowledge of the company, products, industry and solutions
  • Provide strong leadership, develops and sets individual and team goals

Must Haves:

  • Experience building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customers’ technical staff and work closely during discovery phase, demos of products, technical presentations, and identifying solutions to help prospective clients save time and money
  • Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users to create long-term, on-going business relationships and set the stage for future opportunities
  • Skill at translating technical specifications and features into value propositions for customers
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Deep knowledge of sales cycle and presales activities

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years pre-sales experience supporting enterprise software solutions, preferably in a startup
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience as a Sales Engineer
  • Domain expertise in the telecom/tech industry
  • Knowledge of telecom network equipment and/or network architecture is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
